You may have noticed in one of my previous post I have a picture of me bald. This is because of Chemo. It is now over and my hair is growing back. During my bald phase I hated my wigs and wonder what the solution might be and for some reason I imagined a jellyfish on top of my head. Gracefully swaying as I moved like waves in the ocean. My organic living wig. So this is the imagine in my mind.
I love the Jon Stewart’s Arbys war, it’s hilarious or is it just a brilliant way to insert an advertisement that serves Stewart’s true feelings about the brand, meaning Stewart actually does hate Arby’s but has to talk about them or maybe he likes them and just wants to give Arbys a high-five without annoying us with boring ad placement .
The first time he made fun of them I want online to find out why and could find nothing, now you google it and you find quotes, business articles and clips.
The more likely explanation is that Jon Stewart simply likes making fun of Arby’s. The brand is stuck in the 70’s but that’s cool too, sort of.
Does all this have you thinking Arby’s? For some reason I am and I haven’t eaten there since the 80s. Good lord it’s working.
Sorry for the non-art post but I had to talk about it.
I love hipstamatic. It’s analog look is cool but I love the fact that you can shot so many shots at once with the feel of an old fashion shutter. This lets you capture a series of photos with a frame by frame animation style. The filters you can buy are unending and beautiful. I am in love right now with the Tin Type filter. It make haunting photos that look like they are from Civil War period but with modern subjects.

I also love their SwankLab app where you can add chemicals to your photos in a lab and it process the photos in a bath and hangs them to dry just like the old days.
